Job Summary

Qualis Corporation is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Space Systems Engineer. This position requires a strong background in space systems, including MILSATCOM, Global Positioning System, Directed Energy, and Electronic Warfare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis of space systems and subsystems to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
  • Develop and implement test methodologies and tools to evaluate system capabilities and identify shortfalls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute tests, and analyze data to inform system development and improvement.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support operational test and evaluation activities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support test and evaluation activities, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Participate in Integrated Test Teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, such as engineering or computer science.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the field of engineering, with a strong background in space systems.
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance required, with the ability to maintain level of clearance required for this position.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively alone or within a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
