Position: Laboratory Operations Coordinator
This position is pivotal in establishing and executing standardized operational frameworks for a testing and characterization laboratory while also providing support to lab personnel and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain adherence to laboratory safety standards and protocols.
- Oversee laboratory upkeep, manage daily operations, and handle procurement tasks.
- Organize laboratory workload and manage the logistics of sample shipping and receiving.
- Assist laboratory technicians in the assembly and evaluation of sample devices and hardware systems.
- Monitor and document test devices from initial engagement to final resolution.
- Support the assessment of equipment and accessories to enhance and expand service capabilities globally.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with laboratory tools, including operational knowledge and equipment upkeep.
- Proficiency in two or more of the following areas: mechanical prototypes, electrical testing, environmental testing, material characterization, and hardware root cause analysis.
- Experience in procurement and inventory management of supplies and equipment.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment protocols and procedures.
- Capability to utilize, calibrate, and configure laboratory testing systems and instruments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and enthusiasm to work effectively within a team setting.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
