About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Technician to join our team at Christus Health. This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and technical skills.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying and adjusting plaster casts, assembling and attaching orthopedic traction equipment and devices, and setting up bed traction units or rigs special devices as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of an RN, provides orthopedic services for emergency/trauma services and clinical services

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • A minimum of 0-1 year of experience in a related field is preferred
  • Candidates must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $43,000-$55,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
