RN - Emergency Unit (Night Shift)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Unit team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:- Assess and Evaluate Patient Needs: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
- Implement Physician Orders: Accurately administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments and procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Provide Primary and Emergency Care: Offer immediate attention and care to patients experiencing occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with Nursing Team: Work closely with colleagues to create a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Direct and Guide Ancillary Personnel: Supervise and mentor support staff, maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.
- Education: Graduate of a professional academic nursing program, conferring a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques, and demonstrate ability to apply in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement.
