RN - Emergency Unit (Night Shift)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Unit team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:- Assessment and Care Planning: Assess patient needs, evaluate responses to care, and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Medication Administration and IV Therapy: Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments as ordered by physicians to ensure timely and effective patient care.
- Emergency Response and Critical Care: Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, and respond to critical situations with confidence and expertise.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Leadership and Guidance: Direct and guide ancillary personnel, maintain standards of professional nursing, and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Education: Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Skills and Knowledge: Possess knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques, and demonstrate ability to apply in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement.
