Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct unbiased, fact-based pre-employment investigations.
  • Examine municipal government agency applications to extract essential information.
  • Identify gaps and inconsistencies to formulate strategies for obtaining clear and precise data.
  • Perform criminal and civil lawsuit checks utilizing public records.
  • Organize background check processes through effective list management.
  • Review and refine reports for clarity and quality assurance.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all team members.
  • Engage in extensive investigative research via online resources and phone inquiries.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, Paralegal Studies, Journalism, or Political Science.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an office setting.
  • Willingness to Learn: Open to acquiring new skills and processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or possess one already.
  • Drug Testing: Must consent to a drug test.
