We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Rheumatology team at Southcoast Health System, Inc. As an LPN in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, patient and family teaching, and procedures in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Utilize an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other related software to update or access patient information as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent.
- Current LPN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is highly desirable.
- Six months or more experience in a related setting is preferred.
