Role Overview:
The Sales Advisor (internally referred to as Residency Counselor) plays a crucial role in representing our community throughout the sales journey for potential residents. This process begins with the initial inquiry, where the Residency Counselor ensures that all information regarding regulations, procedures, and policies related to community living is clearly explained and coordinated with the administration.
Compensation:
$67,500 non-recoverable draw along with a performance-based bonus paid bi-weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the sales process from the first inquiry to the deposit receipt and move-in, effectively promoting the community.
- Maintain ongoing communication with prospective residents through phone calls, personal visits, tours, and home visits as necessary.
- Provide guidance and advice to prospective residents, their families, and key influencers regarding care levels, community services, and available residential options.
- Document all interactions related to prospective residents and inquiries, ensuring accurate communication with administration and supervision.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of marketing contracts, community amenities, and services to effectively engage with prospective residents.
- Organize and participate in marketing events throughout the year.
- Facilitate timely communication with all parties involved to ensure a smooth sale and move-in process.
- Contribute to the development and research of marketing strategies and plans for the community.
- Handle all inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Meet sales targets as established by the Marketing Director.
- Achieve customer contact goals as outlined by the Marketing Director, including setting appointments and maintaining communication.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess prior sales experience, with a preference for at least five years in a similar role. Education or experience in sales, public relations, or sales psychology is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both large and small groups. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently with self-discipline and motivation. Proficiency in computer software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and lead-tracking systems, is required. Excellent customer service skills are a must.
