Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized breast procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
  • Competently perform mammographic examinations, including routine and specialized procedures, to produce accurate and high-quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience.
  • CA CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists.
  • CA RHM-Radiology Mammography.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Level II - Less than 5 years of experience.
  • Level III - 5+ years recent relevant experience.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The schedule will include days, with no weekend requirements. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a comprehensive retirement plan.
