Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned and accomplished Senior Program Scheduler (Civil Engineering/Rail Transit) to oversee the creation and upkeep of program schedules. This role includes reviewing contractor schedules and managing third-party consulting firms' scheduling efforts, including conducting what-if analyses and maintaining schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain schedule data and reporting.
  • Align program schedule activities with relevant design plans.
  • Detail schedule activities based on design plans, reflecting the duration and rationale for construction tasks. Update schedule data as necessary throughout the design process.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on schedule analysis and progress; deliver updates and documentation to Program/Project Controls.
  • Manage progress, changes in schedule duration, and verify duration basis.
  • Establish schedule assumptions and general foundations for schedule development, identifying critical items not included in structural schedules.
  • Analyze current schedules for correlation with future construction timelines and assess reliability and risks.
  • Offer recommendations to enhance schedule reliability and identify critical path items.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in large-scale construction projects.
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling principles and software (e.g., Primavera P6).
  • Experience in program and project schedule development and management.
  • Working knowledge of TILOS for Time Chainage schedules.
  • Understanding of construction methods, staging, and disciplines, particularly in rail systems.
  • Experience in developing detailed construction schedules from conceptual plans.
  • Ability to identify and document schedule risks.
  • Experience in creating clear and understandable work sequences.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in TILOS and P6 software.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of scheduling experience.
  • Extensive background in project controls.
  • Familiarity with rail and roadway transportation projects.
