Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at McMillen, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and project management skills.

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This will involve coordinating with cross-functional teams, including construction operations, design engineers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with construction operations, design engineers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within budget and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, including project managers, engineers, and construction personnel.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the project is delivered safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, budget reports, and quality control reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on heavy civil design-build projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
