At ChildServe, our Adolescent and Young Adult Complex Medical program provides 24-7 residential skilled nursing care in a family-focused environment. We care for adolescents and young adults who are unable to live at home due to their complex medical needs. Our intensive medical and nursing services support young adults with a variety of conditions. Our Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in meeting the daily care needs of our residents. They work within the scope of practice to ensure young adults are ready and on time for their scheduled activities. This includes providing care gently, respectfully, honoring each resident's privacy. Our Certified Nursing Assistants also ensure residents look their very best: clean, well-groomed, wearing coordinated clothing in good repair. They report all observed changes in a resident's demeanor and condition to the assigned nurse or supervisor. Additionally, they maintain accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures. Effective communication is key in this role. Our Certified Nursing Assistants communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with residents, physicians, families, school personnel, ChildServe staff, and others to assure needs are assessed, communicated, and met. They remain current with all unit and ChildServe specific information. Our Certified Nursing Assistants also provide daily care training to residents, families, and staff, as needed, to help advance the skills and knowledge of all people associated with care delivery. They demonstrate good stewardship of ChildServe equipment, supplies, and environment. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a difference in the lives of our residents. This is a part-time position, working day shifts from 6am to 6pm, with two shifts per week. One weekend shift per month is also required. The salary for this position is around $17.50-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
