Position Overview: We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Civil Litigation Counsel to become a vital part of our innovative legal team. The successful applicant will possess a robust foundation in civil litigation, outstanding research and writing capabilities, and a comprehensive grasp of the judicial system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for clients in civil litigation matters.
  • Perform legal research and evaluation to effectively prepare and present cases.
  • Compose legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Advise clients on legal issues and assist them throughout the litigation journey.
  • Participate in court hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
  • Establish and nurture strong client relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and legal support personnel to ensure effective case management.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a recognized law institution.
  • Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction with a minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of civil procedure and litigation tactics.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to operate independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Client-centered approach to legal practice.
