Job Summary

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Structural Steel Fabricator to join our team. As a Structural Steel Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and constructing metal components, reading and interpreting blueprints, and performing quality checks on completed products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and construct metal components, including welding and finishing products
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Measure and mark out cutting and bending lines, coping, notching, and other metal fabrication tasks
  • Perform quality checks on completed products to ensure they meet specifications
  • Layout, fit, and tack all assembly parts, holes, rails, and miscellaneous items for final welding
  • Fabricate components with minimal instruction and ability to read blueprints and tape measures
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in structural steel fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • MIG welding skills and ability to use torch and laser accurately
  • Strong math skills, including computing fractions
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods
