POSITION OVERVIEW

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32

Work Shift: 32 hrs./wk., commencing at 8am (Monday - Friday)


Role Summary:

The Cardiovascular Technician is responsible for setting up and conducting various diagnostic tests including EKGs, Holter monitoring, Pacemaker assessments, and Stress Testing, along with managing all associated documentation. Additional responsibilities include performing other assigned tasks in alignment with departmental protocols.


Essential Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to adapt and perform under pressure.
  • Experience in medical office scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year experience as an EKG or Cardiovascular Technician.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must demonstrate good physical health. Key requirements include the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and to lift a minimum of 20 pounds. The role may involve working in a moderately noisy environment.

  • Frequently (34%-66%): None.
  • Occasionally (1%-33%): lifting, carrying, climbing (stairs, ladders, etc.), balancing, stooping, and crouching.
