Role Summary:

As a Compliance Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining workflow in our department, monitoring productivity and performance, and ensuring compliance with all Omnicare, State, and Federal guidelines. You'll work alongside our pharmacist to ensure accuracy and provide best-in-class customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Calculating and verifying correct dosages based on prescriptions
  • Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
  • Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other flagged items
  • Creating and maintaining accurate customer records
  • Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required

Requirements:
  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
  • One (1) year or more of pharmacy technician experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • PTCB National Certification
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Education:

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

The typical pay range for this role is: $28.46. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
