Job Summary:The Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of patient care personnel within the assigned clinical area and/or facility, ensuring that patient care requirements are met following physician instructions, MHS policies, and approved patient care standards.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of patient care personnel within the assigned clinical area and/or facility.
- Execute tasks as assigned and according to the clinical area of specialty.
- Innovate by recommending new and/or revise unit methods for defining quality management goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire.
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
- Current BLS Certification required.
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in professional or technical role/function.
- Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Certification in clinical specialty preferred.
