About the Role:

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Scaffold Carpenter to join our team. As a Scaffold Carpenter, you will be responsible for assembling and erecting scaffolding for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble scaffold components, including handrails, mid rails, braces, and planks, to ensure safe and stable structures.
  • Brace forms in place with timbers, tie rods, and anchor bolts to support concrete piers, footings, and walls.
  • Secure scaffolding to permanent structures by tying to prevent collapse or damage.
  • Erect scaffolding for buildings and other structures, and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
  • Set and brace anchor bolts to ensure stable and secure scaffolding.
  • Inspect base surfaces for obstructions and ensure safe working conditions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in scaffold construction and erection.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
