Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scaffold Lead Carpenter to join our team at BrandSafway. As a key member of our scaffolding crew, you will be responsible for leading the erection and dismantling of scaffolding systems, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of scaffold crew members in the erection and dismantling of scaffolding systems
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Develop and implement effective safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with supervisors to plan and coordinate scaffolding projects
  • Provide training and guidance to crew members on scaffolding procedures and safety protocols
Requirements
  • At least three years of experience in scaffolding operations
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems and safety protocols
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Demands

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, often at heights and in confined spaces. The physical demands of this role include:

  • Regularly lifting and moving scaffolding equipment (up to 50 pounds)
  • Working at heights and in confined spaces
  • Wearing a harness and work belt while working at heights
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of environments, including construction sites and industrial settings. The work environment will include:

  • Working at heights and in confined spaces
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
  • Exposure to noise and vibrations
