Role Responsibilities

The Strategy and Operations division at Cash App is tasked with constructing, managing, and innovating the essential frameworks that empower Cash App to emerge as a leading primary banking service in the United States. Within this division, the Product Operations team is dedicated to establishing and enhancing vital product management methodologies, frameworks, and tools. This team plays a crucial role in supporting the Head of Product by managing and refining the product development lifecycle, overseeing product-related operations, coordinating the roadmap, and ensuring the delivery of impactful and compliant products to our clientele.

Key Projects:

  • Enhancing the product development workflow to guarantee the launch of innovative, impactful, and compliant offerings.
  • Creating a centralized repository for cross-functional stakeholders to monitor the product roadmap.
  • Developing a prioritization framework to allocate resources effectively and empower Product Managers to launch products autonomously.
Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in management consulting, product management, strategy and operations, or program management within a product-centric organization.
  • Product Management Background: At least 2 years of experience as a Product Manager, in Product Operations, or in a supportive role for product, engineering, or design teams.
  • Process Optimization: Proven ability to identify organizational challenges and devise processes to address them.
  • Organizational Expertise: Exceptional organizational capabilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated success utilizing no-code tools such as Airtable.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill and present extensive information effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: A solid track record of executing cross-functional initiatives requiring coordination among multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product Development Knowledge: Familiarity with the product development lifecycle.
  • FinTech Background: Experience in the Consumer FinTech sector.
Location

Position is US-based, preferably within the PST timezone. Remote work is acceptable.

Additional Information

Block adopts a market-driven approach to compensation, which may vary based on geographic location. The starting salary for the successful candidate will be determined by job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Salary ranges may be adjusted in the future.
