We are looking for a reliable and physically fit individual to operate a recycling truck and collect recyclables from residential customers. The successful candidate will have a valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a recycling truck to collect recyclables from residential customers
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles
  • Comprehend electronic route tablets and service each customer identified or assigned by the dispatcher
  • Courteous interaction with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

The employee will be exposed to outside weather conditions, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate.

Requirements:
  • Valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Union benefits include medical, dental, vision plans, and a pension plan. A boot allowance of $400 per year and a safety bonus of up to $1,750 per year are also offered.
