We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at St. Mary Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists.
Key Responsibilities- Assume accountability for managing delivery of care and patient safety
- Appropriately educate and explain procedures to patients
- Assess patients for potential risk factors
- Follow departmental protocol for procedures unless specified differently by the Radiologist
- Obtain and document patient history and pertinent information
- Verify and follow Doctor's orders
- Provide for patient privacy
- Complete work within an acceptable timeframe
- Produce quality diagnostic images for interpretation
- Familiar with location of emergency equipment and medications to assist in treatment of contrast reactions and other emergencies
