Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:

As a Radiology Technologist at Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services. This per diem/pool position at St Mary Medical Center offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow department protocols for procedures and take direction from radiologists as needed.

Obtain and document patient history and pertinent information in relevant systems, ensuring accurate patient identification according to National Patient Safety Goals.

Verify and follow doctor's written orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.

Produce high-quality diagnostic images through proper positioning, technique, and image orientation.

Respond effectively in emergency situations, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.

Collaborate with other departments in a professional manner, demonstrating understanding of safety, health, and moral needs of customers and coworkers.

Plan delivery of care according to patient injury or physical limitations, operating medical imaging equipment safely and efficiently.

Replenish and change supplies in assigned areas as needed, ensuring equipment is in acceptable condition through warm-up procedures and reporting malfunctions or problems.

Perform accurate procedures in the operating room, assisting radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures and preparing and administering contrast materials as required.

Qualifications:

ARRT registry (or must pass boards within 180 days of hire)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Technical School/2 Years College / Associate's Degree
