About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Lead Technician to join our team at Dollar General. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our stores by providing exceptional maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of Field-Based Maintenance Technicians to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular site visits to identify and address maintenance concerns, including preventative maintenance and safety equipment inspections.
  • Collaborate with store leaders to develop and implement maintenance plans that meet the needs of our customers and employees.
  • Provide training and guidance to Field-Based Maintenance Technicians on maintenance best practices and procedures.
  • Utilize the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document and track maintenance activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or completed coursework preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, with a focus on retail or commercial settings.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Active participation in a Motor Vehicle Background Check.
