Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Medical Professional to provide high-quality medical care to patients in our urgent care center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing or medicine and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in accordance with the Professional Staff Bylaws and WellStreet Urgent Care policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with center physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment that prioritizes patient satisfaction and well-being.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program of study.
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in accordance with the state of Ohio.
  • 2 years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred.
  • Current DEA registration, preferred.
  • Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing as part of the University Hospitals & WellStreet Urgent Care medical staff.
  • BLS certification is required.
