- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately record and maintain documentation of residents' care and daily activities, ensuring seamless communication with the healthcare team.
- Safety and Infection Control: Follow all safety and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Nutrition and Hydration: Assist with feeding residents and providing hydration, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably long-term care or assisted living, is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Compassion and Empathy: Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature essential.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Certifications: Must pass a background check.
