BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Westampton, New Jersey. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality rehabilitative care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes throughout Camden County and Burlington County.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform outpatient therapy evaluations to develop a plan of care for patients in designated senior living communities or in a group home setting for adults with intellectual disabilities
  • Utilize current research-based approaches to care to maximize functional independence for clients
  • Work closely with home health therapy partners to transition care from home health to outpatient services
  • Educate clients, family, and community caregivers on care plans to achieve a team approach to maximizing functional independence
  • Perform evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning for clients using an outpatient EMR platform

Requirements:

  • A current NJ Occupational Therapist license
  • Prior home care experience preferred, but not required
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
