Job Summary:

MUSC Health - Lancaster is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and scan results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • 2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
