Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and registered nurses in the conduct of endoscopic and pulmonary procedures.
- Prepare procedure rooms according to endoscopic or pulmonary procedure requirements, performing proper safety checks to verify equipment function.
- Clean, disinfect, or calibrate scopes or other endoscopic instruments, collect specimens from patients, and place devices to monitor vital signs.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- More than 10 months of direct patient care experience or endoscopy experience required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
