Job Summary:

About the Role:

As a Respiratory Therapist on our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. You will have the opportunity to work with patients who have a wide range of medical conditions, including brain injuries, and will be responsible for administering respiratory therapies, conducting patient assessments, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

* Provide prescribed respiratory services within the scope of your license and facility policy and procedure
* Assist the treatment team with treatment planning and implementation
* Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
* Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
* Provide education to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management

Requirements:

* Graduate of an A.M.A. approved program in Respiratory Therapy
* Strong interpersonal, clinical, problem-solving, team building, and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively and efficiently during stressful scenarios
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic understanding of computers and ability to use electronic medical records
