Plumbing and Mechanical Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing and Mechanical Estimator to join our team at Apollo Mechanical Contractors. As a Plumbing and Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for performing detailed project takeoffs using industry-standard estimating software and preparing estimates for management review.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering, with excellent communication and technical writing skills. They should be proficient in industry-standard estimating software and have the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing detailed project takeoffs using industry-standard estimating software
- Preparing estimates for management review within time deadlines
- Working closely with Project Managers and the estimating team to identify cost-saving options
- Supporting the estimating leads in preparing labor and material estimates based on plumbing and mechanical drawings
In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and the estimating team to identify areas of improvement and implement cost-saving measures. You will also be responsible for writing and finalizing proposals for estimates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Technical writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
