Overview:

The Clinical Nurse Educator II is accountable for the organization and facilitation of orientation for all nursing staff; serving as a representative of CHRISTUS in various community engagements; and the planning, execution, assessment, and enhancement of nursing continuing education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensures adherence to Administrative and Departmental standards through appropriate conduct, attire, demeanor, attendance, confidentiality, professionalism, and dependability.
  • Designs and executes educational programs to address recognized learning requirements, applying principles of adult education.
  • Establishes and employs suitable evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of educational initiatives.
  • Fosters collaborative partnerships among healthcare professionals.
  • Engages in committees, task forces, meetings, and activities aimed at staff development, ultimately leading to improved patient care.
  • Participates in initiatives that encourage professional growth through education and other activities that advance nursing practice and education.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Active RN License in the state of employment or compact
  • BLS Certification

5 Days - 8 Hours
