ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Report to work as scheduled, dressed in the appropriate uniform. Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout all shifts.

Efficiently set up the bar and complete all opening and side work duties, including cleaning, stocking, checking inventory levels, preparing bulk recipes, and organizing all bar items.

Order, requisition, and stock all liquor, beverages, and other bar supplies in accordance with established procedures.

Mix and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests in the bar and dining area, adhering to all specifications, recipes, and procedures.

Greet all bar guests promptly, offer beverage recommendations, and respond to inquiries regarding food and drink service.

Record and process all food and beverage orders from bar guests accurately. Prepare drinks for the service staff only upon receipt of a computer-generated beverage ticket.

Monitor guest satisfaction with food, drinks, and service; promptly address any guest needs or requests.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar counter, back bar, work areas, shelving, and storage areas to meet established standards.

Comply with all state and local liquor laws and company policies regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.

Communicate any guest concerns or dissatisfaction to the Manager-on-Duty.

Ensure seating areas adhere to local regulations and social distancing guidelines.

Present guest checks accurately and process payments for all food and beverages sold.

Assist with Take Out and Delivery orders as required.

Receive Take Out orders from kitchen staff, verify accuracy, and resolve any discrepancies.

Present Take Out guest checks accurately and process payments for all food and beverages sold.

Address any complaints from Take Out guests.

Follow all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as outlined by the restaurant.

Support other Front-of-House roles as needed to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Perform all duties and maintain knowledge of all standards and procedures as outlined in the Bartender Training Packet.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Must be able to lift, handle, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Good balance and the ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat frequently.

Ability to taste and distinguish flavors, spices, and scents for food and beverage products.

Effective communication skills and attentive listening.

Continuous use of fingers for operating point-of-sale equipment and preparing food/beverage items.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is conducted in a restaurant setting.

Position requires availability for afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Must be able to work in an environment with loud noises from equipment, as well as exposure to fumes, odors, dust, and smoke.

Temperature extremes may range from working near high heat to a walk-in freezer.
