Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating multiple imaging modalities with minimal supervision, producing high-quality diagnostic examinations and interventions. This role requires strong technical skills, independent judgment, and a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Specials, Nuclear Medicine, PACS, and Mammography equipment to produce accurate diagnostic exams.
  • Prioritize procedures to maintain high patient care standards and continuity.
  • Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered in the billing system.
  • Demonstrate competence in working with various age groups and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
  • Comply with policies, procedures, and standards outlined by State and Federal agencies, the hospital, and other regulatory entities.
  • Perform duties that protect patient confidentiality and adhere to CHRISTUS Health's core values.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • ARRT (R) or other qualified Registry registration.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three years' experience in a clinical imaging setting.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
