We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Saputo. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of maintenance services, providing leadership and supervision to maintenance personnel, and ensuring the efficient and effective use of labor, equipment, and material resources.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective leadership and supervision to maintenance personnel, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of tasks and projects.
- Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance services, including maintenance of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, including the implementation of safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Liaise with production departments to monitor and maximize machine efficiencies, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the maintenance of equipment, including the development and implementation of maintenance plans, and the coordination of maintenance activities.
- Conduct daily inspections of work areas, and identify and report any safety hazards or concerns.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and prepare reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs for maintenance personnel, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance services, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a maintenance or operations environment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel, and to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks and projects.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures, including safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement, and to develop and implement plans to address these opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to prioritize tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
