Key Responsibilities
  • Quality System Development and Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality system that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations, including FDA, Health Department, FSMA, and HACCP.
  • Quality Team Management: Manage a team of quality professionals to ensure effective implementation of quality systems and processes.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct regular quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize product quality.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as food sciences, quality management, or engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality leadership within the food and beverage industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of FDA, GMP certifications, third-party food safety audits, HACCP, CCPs, and FSMA.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with experience managing a team of quality professionals.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: This position requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and compliance.
  • Travel: Travel may be required to attend training and industry events.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: Salary range of $95,000 - $105,000 annually.
