General Job Function:

The Financial Analyst for Capital Data Management plays a crucial role in the efficient collection, organization, and dissemination of essential capital data for the GOS capital program. This role encompasses tracking budgets, expenditures, forecasts, and deviations from the plan throughout the fiscal year. The analyst will collaborate with the GOS Capital leadership team to develop robust systems and processes for effective data tracking. The candidate will also assist in the business planning cycle and monitor the program's annual tracking.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• This position is central to GOS, as it relies on data from various segments and sub-segment locations. Key responsibilities include planning, data collection, organization, and reporting.
• Analyze and identify risks associated with the Capital Program by utilizing data and supporting the identification of key performance indicators.
• Foster and maintain relationships with GOS sub-segment leadership to ensure effective information exchange.
• Assist in establishing and reporting on key performance indicators to stakeholders regularly.
• Support decision-making regarding capitalized expenditures and their categorization into appropriate portfolios (Maintenance, Improvement, or Growth).

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Finance
• Over 5 years of relevant experience

• Strong focus on nuclear/industrial safety and human performance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to collaborate across multiple organizations
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, or modeling
• Utilizes a fact-based, structured decision-making approach to support appropriate actions
• Skilled in effectively exchanging information, instructions, and ideas within cross-functional teams
• Comprehends and adheres to all safety, health, environmental, and quality assurance policies and procedures, emphasizing this perspective in their work and that of others
