Safety Manager

Consigli Construction is seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team. As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating hospital accident, fire prevention, and occupational safety and health programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accident and incident investigations to determine probable causes and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Create safety committees or boards to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Develop and recommend new procedures and approaches to safety and loss prevention based on reports of incidents, accidents, and other data gathered from hospital personnel.
- Provide employees with self-audit or safety inspection tools to promote a high level of safety awareness within the organization.
- Regularly audit and report on safety results, and oversee safety self-audit and inspection programs.
- Maintain accurate records of such audits.
Requirements:
- Degreed Safety Professional with CHST or CSP designation required.
- Minimum of OSHA 500 - trainer course in Construction Safety Standards.
- Red Cross or American Heart Association First aid trainer.
- Experience with an IIF or IFE (Injury & Incident Free, or Injury Free Environment) safety culture.
- Working capability with web-based safety auditing programs.
- Computer literacy and working knowledge of spreadsheets expected.
- Ability to work within a team and provide valuable analysis and improvement to safety programming.
