Peraton is seeking a Cyber Security Technical Lead who will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in support of the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order.
This role involves close collaboration with the SITEC 3 EOM Enterprise Deputy Program Manager to fulfill and surpass performance goals set for the program.
The Cyber Security Technical Lead is tasked with providing expert technical assistance in executing SITEC 3 EOM requirements, ensuring compliance with various Cyber Security protocols and DoD standards.
The mission of the SITEC 3 EOM Task Order is to deliver Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to USSOCOM and its associated commands, ensuring robust Network Operations (NetOps) and comprehensive support for systems and network infrastructure.
The Cyber Security Technical Lead plays a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of networks utilized by USSOCOM and its partners, providing essential support for cybersecurity defense-in-depth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site Cybersecurity engineering support.
- Conduct thorough network audits and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitor operations continuously for trends and anomalies.
- Analyze network topologies to secure data flows across diverse platforms.
- Identify and implement industry-leading applications and network device support.
- Perform risk and vulnerability assessments on engineered networks and systems.
Additionally, the Cyber Security Technical Lead will:
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and certification standards.
- Conduct Risk Decision Authority Criteria (RDAC) analysis to establish necessary security controls.
- Engineer solutions for vulnerability assessments in alignment with national and DoD security standards.
- Coordinate with various organizations to resolve security issues and support engineering requests.
- Provide Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support and project management services.
- Review and document security requirements throughout the application and system life cycles.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
- 12 years of experience with a BS/BA; or 10 years with an MS/MA. Relevant degrees in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics are preferred.
- 10 years of experience in IT operations, including 5 years in specialized roles.
- Proven experience in managing and operating at an Enterprise-wide level.
- Strong technical writing skills and experience briefing senior leadership.
- DoDD M IASAE Level III certification (CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP).
Desired:
- Certifications such as CEH, Cloud+, CySA+.
