Position Overview
As a part of Omnicare, Inc., a subsidiary of CVS Health Corporation, you will be instrumental in delivering a wide range of pharmacy services tailored for long-term care facilities and other healthcare environments. Your role as a Clinical Pharmacist will be in a vibrant and fast-paced setting, ensuring that pharmacy management's objectives are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
1. Ensure precise order entry and maintain pharmacy security.
2. Adhere to established delivery timelines and verify the accuracy of orders processed by technicians.
3. Assess the completeness and correctness of all new and refill prescriptions.
4. Oversee the packaging and labeling of medications for accuracy.
5. Prepare and supervise sterile IV drug products as needed.
6. Maintain an accurate inventory of controlled substances in compliance with DEA regulations.
7. Provide coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
8. Comply with all relevant state and federal regulations, including HIPAA.
9. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality service.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A valid pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky, in good standing.
- Preferred experience in Long Term Care pharmacy and IV Certification.
- Willingness to obtain immunization certification if not already certified.

Educational Background
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or a Doctorate of Pharmacy is required.
