Position Overview:
As a key member of the Automation Service Group, the Senior or Lead Automation Projects Engineer will spearhead the design and execution of Process Automation System (PAS) initiatives tailored for Life Science clientele. This role is pivotal in ensuring that automation solutions align with industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and oversee the deployment of automation projects, utilizing S95 and S88 methodologies.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of client requirements to create comprehensive scopes of work.
  • Collaborate with clients to shape long-term automation strategies, highlighting potential projects and methodologies.
  • Engage with process engineers to establish functional specifications.
  • Lead project teams in the design, configuration, and validation of control strategies for both continuous and batch processes.
  • Coordinate and review project team activities to ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Facilitate the start-up of complex systems at client locations.
  • Monitor project scope and financials, identifying and justifying any necessary changes.
  • Serve as a liaison among the project team, management, and clients.
  • Proactively build and maintain client relationships, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior engineers within the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Over 7 years of relevant experience in project delivery.
  • Extensive experience in integrating field instrumentation for industrial applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret P&ID and electrical schematics.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Life Sciences sector, with knowledge of FDA regulations.
  • Familiarity with DeltaV process control systems.
  • Prior experience with Emerson or its business partners.
  • Understanding of industry-specific process control terminologies and standards.

Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary, with a range for the Senior position and a higher range for the Lead position, along with quarterly profit sharing. Additional benefits include:
