Job Summary

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the fabrication of optical and mechanical components, building and testing products, and applying your skills to plan and perform operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints and work instructions to ensure accurate production
  • Configure, program, and operate machines to meet production requirements
  • Monitor and adjust process within the limits of the standard set-up to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Complete precision assembly of complex modules and perform quality tests, measurements, and inspections
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and train others on qualified operations
  • Prepare materials and interface with plant systems to ensure smooth production
  • Responsible for housekeeping and autonomous maintenance to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Communicate effectively and update/maintain records as required
  • Actively engage with continuous improvement and cost reduction programs to drive business growth
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Technology-based AAS preferred
  • 3+ years experience with precision manufacturing operations
  • Ability to lift or move materials up to 15 pounds occasionally and minimal exposure to disagreeable elements
