Job Summary

EnerSys, a leading industrial technology company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform acceptance inspections of raw materials, components, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies to documented inspection plans using various metrology.
  • Adhere to and promote the company's documented Quality Management System procedures and policies.
  • Identify, segregate, and report non-conformances discovered during inspections.
  • Prepare final source inspection documentation and First Article Inspection documentation.
  • Maintain a neat and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as an inspector preferred.
  • OpenDMIS CMM software preferred.
  • GD&T certification preferred.
Competencies
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints (GD&T is a plus).
  • Ability to read and understand material certification and industry specifications for materials.
  • Competent in the use of mechanical metrology such as micrometers, calipers height gage, drop gage, optical comparator (programming is a plus) and CMM (programming is a plus).
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere as a contributing member.
General Job Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to differentiate colors.
