Key Responsibilities:
  • People Management: Day-to-day management of the AV Specialists and Managers in the NYC region, oversight of the AV Operation Specialist (AVOS) Pool, and development road mapping and adherence to training standards.
  • Operations Management: Provide ad-hoc troubleshooting and assistance to customers, management/troubleshooting of AV equipment, evaluation and troubleshooting of personal computer hardware and software, and preprogram coordination with clients.
  • Customer Service: Make personal contact and maintain positive relationships with clients, interact with Sales and Production teams to ensure a thorough understanding of the client experience, and prepare and follow-up on all sales quotes.
  • Administrative: Responsible for weekly financial reporting of client programs, tracking labor hours/dollar amounts, and spending, direct oversight and ownership of all property P&L responsibilities, and weekly auditing of aging reports from Vendors.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years' of progressive IT and AV experience
  • 5+ years' experience in managing IT and AV equipment with live events
  • Knowledge of computer networking/maintenance and software systems
  • 5+ years' experience leading team members
  • Hospitality and customer service experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of audiovisual equipment, including analog/digital audio mixers, wireless microphone systems, seamless video switchers, and projectors/displays
  • Possess a basic understanding of Crestron hardware/functionality and other control systems
  • Basic knowledge of data networking principles, architecture, and applications
  • Salesforce and CRM knowledge
  • Experience in the basic installation, configuration, operation, and administration of operating systems, applications, and hardware for Macs, PCs, LANs, servers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google, and Apple iWorks suite of business applications
  • Ability to lead and manage other team members over a geographic area while working effectively with both internal and external clients
  • Experiencing supporting P&L management and budgeting processes with input from other Area and Regional Leaders
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
