Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine articulation, fluency, language, pragmatic, and voice disorders
* Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to address speech and language impairments
* Collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans
* Participate in Child Find, Screening, RTI, Review of Existing Data, Eligibility, IEP development and implementation procedures
* Attend departmental meetings, trainings, and conferences to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulations
Requirements:
* Valid speech-language pathology license issued by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP)
* Thorough knowledge of special education principles, practices, and procedures
* Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, students, parents, staff, and administration
