Job Summary:

Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in the Electrophysiology Laboratory. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing the lab and patient for EPS/Pacing procedures, gathering and compiling information during the procedure, and assisting the nurse and physician as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the Electrophysiology Laboratory and patient for EPS/Pacing procedures
  • Gather and compile information during the procedure using computer-generated data
  • Assist the nurse and physician in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor and oversee the proper use of radiation, if applicable

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Radiology or a Procedural area
  • Graduation from an accredited 2-year Radiological or Cardiovascular Program or RCIS or RCES
  • Valid N.J. Radiology Technologist License ARRT, if applicable
  • BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of prior EPS or Cath Lab experience
  • EKG interpretation and scrub experience
  • ARRT (CV), CVT, or RCIS certification
  • ACLS certification and strong communication skills
