About the Role

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in Bronx, New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform chemical analysis on blood samples and blood gases of cardiac catheterization patients.
  • Monitor EKG and pressure recordings of patients during procedures.
  • Prepare patients, assemble, and operate hemodynamic and electrophysiology equipment during interventional and diagnostic procedures.
  • Continuously monitor vital signs, EKG, and pressure recordings.
  • Perform direct and indirect patient care.
Requirements
  • RCIS (registered cardiovascular invasive specialist) and/or RCS (registered cardiac electrophysiology specialist) and/or IBHRE (international board of heart rhythm examiners) certification preferred at hire or within 2 years of employment.
  • Licensed Clinical laboratory technologist preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma required.
