Job Title: Toddler Lead Teacher

At Discovery Isle Preschool, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Toddler Lead Teacher to join our team of educators who value a classroom centered on the perfect balance of learning and play.

Job Summary:

The Toddler Lead Teacher will be responsible for the coordination of classroom operations, including the implementation of our proprietary curriculum. Our curriculum is literacy-based and structured, but also purposefully flexible. Teachers are encouraged to be creative and intentional when developing activities, ensuring instructional decisions are based on student's interests and needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate classroom operations and implement our proprietary curriculum
  • Develop activities that cater to students' interests and needs
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Complies with all company and state-specific standards and maintains validation of required credentials for the position
  • Complies with all state-specific education requirements
  • Meets minimum preparation and experience required for certification as an Early Childhood Education Teacher (CDA) or 12 Early Childhood Education Units
  • High School Diploma or GED
