Job Overview

Material Handling Equipment Operator - We are seeking a skilled Material Handling Equipment Operator to enhance our warehouse operations. This role involves managing various tasks related to shipment preparation, including picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods in accordance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assign tasks to a team of equipment operators.
  • Must possess recent operational experience.
  • Provide training to new operators on departmental procedures.
  • Prepare shipments by processing requests and supply orders; retrieving materials; packing items; and organizing orders for delivery.
  • Coordinate shipments by assessing destination, route, cost, and delivery timelines, while dispatching to carriers.
  • Utilize powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and order pickers to move products, equipment, and materials efficiently.
  • Employ an RF scanner with precision.
  • Unload incoming materials and merchandise, ensuring proper stacking in designated areas.
