Our Pharmacy Technician Training Program is recognized by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Department of Labor. This program provides a comprehensive training experience, guiding you in taking steps towards becoming a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certified Pharmacy Technician.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the performance of other Pharmacy Department duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a strong desire to learn and grow, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the performance of other Pharmacy Department duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and develop strong relationships with patients.
  • Participate in the Pharmacy Technician Training Program and obtain PTCB certification.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
